PARTNERS SERBIA
Partners Serbia is a civil society organization devoted to upholding the rule of law, supporting civil society and institutional development in Serbia and the region, and building local capacity by relying on local expertise. Partners Serbia specializes in the rule of law, democracy, anti-corruption, and human rights (with a particular focus on protecting privacy and personal data), as well as alternative dispute resolution, change, and conflict management. Established in 2008, Partners Serbia has also developed distinctive expertise in training, coaching, and capacity building, assisting different institutions, from state bodies to commercial subjects, in developing and delivering tailor-made training to their staff and clients.
Since being established, Partners Serbia has implemented over 40 local and international projects, with as many as 8.500 beneficiaries having participated in its programs in more than 650 promotional and educational events. Partners Serbia has developed cooperations and partnerships with many civil society organizations and networks in Serbia and the region, as well as with numerous public authority institutions. Partners Serbia’s representatives participate in the work of professional associations and the working groups of the Government of Serbia for drafting and amending legislation.
Partners Serbia is a member of the International Partners Network, which has a 30-year track record of unparalleled success in promoting democracy and human rights, strengthening local organizations in transitioning countries to become sustainable, effective partners to other social sectors in creating good governance and a culture of democratic, peaceful change management, and implementing local and transnational initiatives.
