The overall goal of the Project is to contribute to reforms in the rule of law sector as a key priority for Serbia to address within the EU negotiations process, through supporting the democratic performance of the Parliament in its primary role to uphold the rule of law and secure checks and balances.

By strengthening the role and capacities of civil society partners to monitor and scrutinize parliamentary performance, provide recommendations and initiate evidence-based, multi-stakeholder policy dialogue, it establishes foundation for increased civil society effectiveness and influence on transparency, openness and accountability of the Parliament in enforcing the rule of law.
