Partners Serbia, in cooperation with ADR Partners, organized a two-day training seminar on “Commercial Mediation – Representing Clients in Mediation” in Vrsac on March 29 and March 30, 2019. This training is part of the Bar Association Mediation Project, implemented by Partners Serbia, with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Serbia.

At this interactive seminar, over 20 representatives of the business sector (Frikom, Imlek, Nelt, Intersport, Roaming Group, Dijamant, etc.) had the opportunity to learn about methods of alternative dispute resolution, the legal framework for the use of mediation in Serbia, international standards in this area, basic communication skills, conflict management, the difference between mediation and court proceedings, how to select the mediable cases, how to prepare for mediation, and to familiarize themselves with all phases of the mediation process.

Trainees at the training were Dragana Cuk Milankov, psychologist and mediator, and Blazo Nedic, lawyer, regional mediator of the World Bank and President of NUMS.
