Mediation Advocacy Training Organized in Kragujevac

Partners Serbia, in cooperation with the Bar Association Kragujevac, organized 2-day training “Mediation Advocacy – Representing Clients in Mediation”, on 28 and 29 September, in Kragujevac for 36 lawyers.

This training is a part of the Bar Association Mediation Project, implemented by Partners Serbia, in cooperation with the Bar Association of Kragujevac, and support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Serbia.

The goal of this training was to enable lawyers to improve their mediation advocacy skills, by selecting cases suitable for mediation, advising and preparing their clients for the mediation process, and providing high quality legal representation and negotiation skills, in order to enable their clients to achieve quick and efficient resolution of their disputes.

Lecturers at this training were Dragana Cuk Milankov, psychologist and mediator, and Blazo Nedic, lawyer, regional mediator of the World Bank Group, and President of the Serbian National Association of Mediators (NUMS).
